It’s been twenty years since the bombs fell. In that time, New World City has grown, forcing the city council to seek out new sources of food and water.

Lucas, one of the community’s historians, is sent out with a team of their best scientists and military personnel to record the events as they search for new resources. His appointment doesn’t sit well with the other team members, who view him as little more than a useless burden.

The journey is dangerous, but their finds are promising, giving new hope for their community’s future. Until the team is ambushed and captured by a hunting party searching for food—which they have now found.
