Thanks for visiting!

I have been a teacher for thirty-six years. I began writing a number of years ago for fun. I’m not sure anyone starts writing for any other reason or no one would ever continue. It is something I had always wanted to do, but got started late in life.

I took advantage of the fact that I had a student teacher one year to begin my first story. I had a blast. The story wasn’t very good, but it didn’t matter, I was only writing for me anyway. In fact, I had so much fun I started a second immediately; then a third. But it wasn’t until I finished my fourth one that I finally let someone read one. It was with her encouragement that I began researching the possibility of getting published. This site is to document my journey as a writer and all the learning this teacher is doing along the way.

I hope to see you again! Check back later for new updates to my website. There's much more to come.
